Mark, I totally agree that the ACNA bishops and leadership should stamp out antisemitism wherever and whenever it rears its ugly head, particularly among clergy. But also they should not be stupid cowards who deliberately misinterpret a gesture with an upraised hand as a Nazi salute when it clearly is nothing of the kind. It is a gesture more commonly used these days by many politicians and activists on both the left and the right indicating ‘our hearts are together’.

Agreed. But I think that gesture is unwise and is to be avoided. And one of our best allies has apologized for that. Again, we should avoid the appearance of evil and needless offense. But, yes, we should not give in to smears either.

Senator Cory Booker did the hand gesture yesterday after a speech and there is only silence from the media.

A normal accepted gesture until the left weaponized it and the useful idiots play along.

Well it's not a naughty salute when Democrats do it. You should know this. ;)

Democrats screaming they hate fascists are always the same ones practicing fascism, and instead of denouncing political violence, Democrats are encouraging it. https://torrancestephensphd.substack.com/p/the-american-political-party-of-violence

Regarding authorship of Scripture, I think St. Luke is the only Gentile author.

The scripture also includes Babylonian (King Nebuchadnezzar wrote part of Daniel).

Yes, St. Luke was probably Greek by birth although he might have been a Hellenic Jew.
