He accomplished his purpose obviously, and got the attention of the execrable David French, king of the Never-Trumpers, who sold their souls for a bowl of leftist pottage, and a pat on the head by the Democrat Party courtiers in New York and Los Angeles. I hope Heaven is a place where we no longer have to endure the preening moral posturing of people like Ray Ortlund and David French.
Jesus is not a Republican, and He doesn't make endorsements, but any Christian who claims that other Christians are not reflecting the glory of God if they vote for Trump and the Republicans is no different from British pacifists in 1940. George Orwell stated flatly that such people were aiding the German war effort.
David French, if you have tears, prepare to shed them now. I voted by mail, straight Republican.
Remember, you are not voting for a pastor! You are voting for the next President of the US. Vote for the one that most aligns with a Biblical Worldview. God has given us the wonderful privilege of being part of a representative government, and for us to sit down and not participate is basically a slap in the face of the one true God. Do you love God above all else? If so, then you will stand for what God loves, which is truth, justice, righteousness, holiness, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Don’t be like those Christians during the holocaust, who sang louder and louder in their church services, so as not to hear the cries of those Jews packed in trains on their way to death camps. How many Jews could have been saved if only the people would have let their voices be heard. Get out and vote!!
