I will be commenting on Election Night results live...
…but not here, so read on. Plus an interesting and different poll.
On Election Night, I will be live commenting on returns as they come in. But I will not be doing that on my substack (although you can expect a post mortem post later). Instead I will try to do this by making one post on my Facebook page, then adding comments to that post.
One advantage of this is that you will have the opportunity to make your comments and ask questions live.
So I think I will make one late afternoon/early evening post on my FB page and then add comments to that post as the night proceeds. This is the first time I’ve tried to do that via Facebook, so we will have to play by ear to see how this works out.
I used to be even more of a political geek than I am now. And this is a very *interesting* election. So it should be fun. So join me on my Facebook page for the fun/torture Election Day evening!

Remember my post on shy Republicans? I noted that many of those intending to vote Republican are reluctant to tell that to a pollster; so most polls probably underestimate support for the GOP.
Well, a poll has come out that tries to get around the Shy Republican problem by asking how respondents think their neighbors will vote. This method worked well in 2016 while most polls utterly failed. And this method is indicating that a Red Wave is about to break all over Democrats. We shall see, but you can read more here.
