To me the bishop’s inappropriate virtue signaling comment shows spiritual immaturity. Does the bishop really think that by applying woke cultural standards within the church, he has the spiritual gift of discernment?
This is the worst of Charismatic-speak; someone (in this case, to make matters worse, an office holder who possesses influence) can merely claim to "discern spirits" and not be required to give any more of an explanation than an appeal to his subjective "feelz." Sad to watch the ACNA succumb to such inanities.
Is there any recognition that the topic given to Calvin Robinson "Gospel Metanarratives and Critical Theory" was completely inane? It shows a total lack of a moral vocabulary--is it just; is it true; is it anthropologically correct? We all need to go back to classical schooling. Maybe we can produce properly catechized public actors who don't classify what they like as "Christian" and "biblical" and what they don't as "un".
I used to attend a church that was once a part of the ACNA they left and joined one of the continuing Anglicans groups. When it was part of the ACNA I didn't go, because they are simply the Episcopal Church 30 years ago.

I just had a Word of Knowledge about that. (KIDDING!)
Wow. Thanks for keeping up with this, Mark. What a mess.
I’ve listened. It’s outrageous libel.
I never thought ACNA would just become the TEC all over again. What a quick slide right back to the bottom.
Well, we aren't there yet. But we're closer than I like.
They were destined to fail from the moment of their founding. They compromised. Fools.

And "metanarrative" is a post-modern term.
#GAFCON, #GSFA lead on!!

I’ve seen this movie a couple of times before. The ending won’t be different this time either.
