Hey, Mark; I'm right there with you. Oxford is home away from home; I'm heading back over there for Trinity term just because I've been asked to. But we grieve over what has happened. Yet it has been inevitable, has it not,? We've tolerated or promoted all the false ideas that have infected our lands over the last century and a half or so, if you want to draw the line there - and we've done it first of all in the Church. You are so right that we have to love our culture and be willing to fight for it. We need good men who will "not live by lies" and will do what is right, and stand up against the insanity. We have had them before, because God has given them to us. We need him to do it again. We can only do our part and pray - "the fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."

I think this is accurate however I am not at all certain that our enemies will allow us to keep any alternate society that may be created in the Benedict option.

Yes it may be necessary to be under their radar as much as possible. But for those who love The Faith or love freedom, there never been any guarantees of safety.

I don’t require guarantees though. I require that the odds be in my favor that my ancestors gave to me and mine through their toil, blood and sacrifice.
