I had a good rant a couple weeks ago about Big Evangelicalism supporting the Invasion.
And World Relief has long been one of the larger Big Eva players in enabling illegal immigration. Matthew Soerens, World Relief’s VP of Advocacy and Policy as well as National Coordinator for the Evangelical Immigration Table (which I take to task in the above rant), was recently busy virtue signaling at the border. See for yourself on X if you don’t mind being gaslighted.
I will leave aside his contention that there is no invasion to see here. I will leave aside his parroting Biden Regime Democrat gaslighting that he supports more funds for “border security.” Democrats and he (But I repeat myself?) want more money for welcoming and processing the invaders, not to stop the Invasion. If Biden wanted to actually secure the border, he has the authority to do that already. Instead he welcomed the Invasion from Day One of his presidency (See Executive Orders 10-13 for staters.) and before. Instead he is trying to thwart efforts of Texas to actually secure the border.
Oh. I said I would leave aside Soerens’ “border security” gaslighting. Oh, well. Anyway…
What particularly provokes me is his assertion that the situation at the border “is not a dangerous situation” and “it’s not people coming in trying to harm the United States.”
How DARE Matthew Soerens say that. Say that to all the people victimized by crime from illegals. Tell them to the face that “it’s not people coming in trying to harm” us. A needful X thread from Senator Roger Marshall is only a start on comprehending the horrible crimes invaders have inflicted on Americans.
Tell the thousands and thousands of those killed by fentanyl poisoning that the border situation is “not dangerous.” Tell all those harmed by the Invasion, including those who live in fear. How DARE Soerens say such a thing!
Why would a supposed Christian say such a thing, that there is no invasion and it’s not dangerous anyway? Why so shamelessly gaslight on behalf of MOAR funds to facilitate and reward the Invasion?
Well, Megan Basham gives us a clue:
Here's something you need to know about World Relief--just like other major religious NGOs that do the administrative part of refugee resettlement, it has a massive financial incentive for wanting to keep the number of those claiming refugee status in our country high. As Capital Research put it, “In reality, they are simply government contractors paid handsomely for their services.” How handsomely? In 2018 alone, World Relief received $215.3 million in taxpayer dollars for administering federal refugee grants.
And they are not allowed to proselytize. Any claim that they are spreading the gospel with this work is false.
Yep. Big Eva support for the Invasion is a grift that pays very well.
Just ask World Relief.
