A follow up to my post yesterday about the varieties of lies, particularly the “Russian Collusion” lies exposed by the Durham Report.
The Washington Post has responded to the Durham Report and to calls that it return its Pulitzer Prize for its debunked reporting: “The Post stands by its reporting.” And it refuses to return the Pulitzer, not that the hacks in charge of awarding the prize want it back.
They aren’t called Fake News for nothing. I think that designation kind at this point.
Adam Schiff is also doubling down on his Russiangate lies: “Bottom line: FBI had a good reason to investigate - Durham didn’t.”
This confirms that Speaker McCarthy did the right thing in removing him from the Intelligence Committee. Remember that as head of that committee Schiff promulgated and promoted the Hillary-FBI manufactured hoax of “Russian Collusion” and violated his obligations as chair of that sensitive committee by leaking salacious garbage to do so. If it wasn’t treason, it was close to it.
Now there is an effort to expel Schiff from Congress. I question the wisdom of that, however. If you expel Schiff for lying, then you pretty much would be obligated to expel most of the Congress for lying when they swore the oath to uphold the Constitution. . . .
I need to rethink this effort.
Anyway, all this brings to mind a quote from Solzhenitsyn:
We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying.
I think Ralph Kramden said it first, however. The good Russian must have caught a re-run while in the gulag.
