The Regime Wants to Educate Your Kids

Did I say “educate”? I meant “indoctrinate.”

This is another busy week of trying to catch up with this and that.  So far, so good, but there is still much to do.  So apologies again for infrequent posting.  And this post shall be short.

But I want to bring your attention to increased Regime attacks on homeschools and classical schools.

Yes, I include kept “news” organs in the Regime because they are pretty much state media now.  And to think I used to laugh at Pravda.

Kennedy, who is a dangerous homeschooler, brought my attention to these attacks in this post.  This from the Federalist lists some of the attacks from the Washington Post, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, The New Republic and more.  The indoctrination, I mean, education establishment is not happy either.

This from a draft of my sermon this coming Sunday notes the underlying reason for these attacks:

There is a reason that totalitarians almost always try to undermine families and insist that the state educate children instead of parents.  A society in which parents teach their children well is difficult for tyrants to control.  A society in which the state indoctrinates children is only a generation or two from totalitarian darkness….*

Christian families are the ultimate resistance cells to totalitarian tyranny. And the totalitarians know it. So take courage and lead and teach well your children and little brothers and sisters and nephews and nieces.

I go on to add that the best education is usually done in smaller groups anyway.  Yes, large universities play an important role.  But most of them are now utterly failing really to educate instead of indoctrinate, are they not?

In any case expect Regime attacks to increase on homeschools and classical schools and other effective non-state schools that actually educate instead of indoctrinate into Regime ideologies.

For they really do want your children.  Totalitarians always do.

*Please note that I have no problem with excellent non-woke public schools.  But how many of those are left, particularly in the cities?
