Evil Has Become More Evident

There is a pattern according to which evil often operates.  Evil lures under the guise of being reasonable and good.  The Serpent lured Eve by telling her that if she ate the forbidden fruit, she would become like God.  Isn’t that a good and desirable thing?  Shouldn’t we strive to be godly?  At the other end of the Bible, according to some traditional interpretations of the Apocalypse of St. John, the Antichrist will imitate Christ by performing miracles and recovering from an apparently mortal injury.  People will therefore worship the imposter.  (Rev. 13: 3-4 and again, this is one interpretation.)

We’ve seen this pattern time and again in history.  Hitler’s early popularity was based on his strengthening a weak Germany and opposing Communism.  What patriotic German would oppose that?  Fidel Castro repeatedly insisted he supported democracy and human rights after he took power in Cuba in 1959.

In 2020, Biden, with Kamala Harris at his side, campaigned as a moderate ol’ Uncle Joe that would return us to normalcy.

And we’ve seen this pattern too many times in the 20th and 21st century church.  The spirit of Antichrist took over most mainline Protestant denominations using a Christian vocabulary.  Driving out orthodoxy and the orthodox was preceded with calls for “dialogue,” “holy listening,” and “reconciliation.” Who would be so odious as to oppose such sweet reasonableness?  Toxic ideologies such as Marxism and Marxism’s incestuous children, particularly Liberation Theology and Critical Theory, were imported under the guise of “liberation,” “loving your neighbor,” (as echoed by the latest “Evangelicals for Harris” ad. More on them later.) and “justice.”  You don’t oppose justice, do you? Don’t you want to love your neighbor?  Or are you just a racist bigot?

But evil just cannot help itself.  Sooner or later, it casts off restraint and fully reveals itself, usually at the point when it thinks it can get away with it.  I think we are upon such a moment now.

One would have to be blind to not see that the Globalist governments of Germany, France, Ireland and the U. K. are traitors importing invaders to prey on and replace native citizens — who had better keep their mouths shut about it or else.  One would have to ignorant or stupid (Yes, I said it.) not to see that the Democrat Party, once a mixed but honorable party, is now profoundly evil.  Heck, the Democrat National Convention was even providing free abortions like amusement rides in their Midway of Moloch.  The party that has so often whined “it’s for the children!” now kills and mutilates children — “gender affirming care” — as a matter of public policy.  And Democrats, and Harris particularly, sides with criminals over victims, with invaders over citizens, and, yes, with groomers over parents.  And it will only get worse if, God forbid, she is “elected.”

And I have only started on the issues in which the Globalists and Democrats have gone full evil.  The Jack Smith absurd re-indictment of Trump yesterday for “election interference” is a reminder of the two-tiered justice and lawfare against opponents of the Regime that is more totalitarian than American.

This situation in Western Europe and the U. S. provides an opportunity for progressive “Christians” to actually repent a little or at least say this is going too far.  Maybe a few out there among that crowd are so doing, but I haven’t seen it.  Instead they, even Pope Francis, are doubling down on treason, particularly that of aiding the Invasion.

The Treason Of The Clerics

Here in the U. S., instead of taking the opportunity to reflect that even if they cannot stomach Trump, Harris-Walz is just too evil for them to support, some of these “Christians” are doubling down in that direction as well.  Yes, I’m talking about “Evangelicals for Harris” among others.  Heck, people like Jemar Tisby, David French, Jim Ball, Dwight McKissic, Matt Tebbe (Yes, that guy, formerly of C4SO, ACNA) and Soong-Chan Rah might as well wear sandwich signs that proclaim, “Yes, I’m as awful as you racists said I was and more!”  As if the publication of Megan Basham’s Shepherds for Sale did not expose enough already how evil forces have bought and infiltrated much of what passes for Evangelicalism today.

But no smirks from you Papists.  Your Cardinal Cupich blessed the Mass of Moloch, I mean, the Democrat National Convention.  And Francis himself, unlike past Popes who assisted resistance against invasion, has cheerleaded the Invasion and vilified those trying to repel it.

Yes, I am ranting a bit.  Excuse me for that.  This is more than the “smoke of Satan” in the institutional church; it is a spreading fire of Evil!  I’m not going to be nice and pretend it’s not.

I stepped away from the keyboard, did some real life chores and calmed down.  So now I can say there is a bright side to this increased brazen unveiling of evil in church and politics.  Yes, I, of all people see a bright side to all this.

Christians now have less excuse to support or even tolerate the likes of “Evangelicals for Harris” as church leaders and teachers.  People in the pews (or folding chairs) have all the more reason to insist that their churches not support such evil.  There has been much hiding of evil behind “justice” and “love your neighbor” and the like.  But these wolves are letting their sheep’s clothing slip now and are hardly hiding any more.

In the political realm, there is also opportunity for a return to sanity. Many more people see that the Democrat Party has become profoundly evil and dangerous. Sane informed people can hardly not see it! Even longtime Democrats, such as RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and

, now see the evil madness of the current Democrat Party and are turning against it and therefore supporting Trump.

I also think the dysfunctions in society are a factor behind more of the young, particularly young men, turning to traditional expressions of Christianity. But that is a much larger topic.

At the same time, now that evil in politics and society has become more obvious, there is greater danger as well.  I don’t even like thinking about this, much less writing about it, but . . . will we even be allowed to cast this madness out of power?  The Democrats have already shown they will massively rig and steal an election if they can get away with it. Trump is not blowing smoke when he says we need a victory “too big to rig.”  In the UK context, the British voted time and again to restrict immigration; instead they are getting that much more diversity shoved down their faces and knifed into their backs.

And there is also the possibility that the U. S. electorate will actually really elect Harris-Walz.  We will be without excuse if we do and therefore all the more ripe for judgement.  The results of blatant willful sin tends to be its own punishment. So I’m expecting the natural disastrous results of a Harris victory would be the judgement. That would be awful enough and something I dread, to be honest. 

But if the Lord adds to that and more directly lays down the law, I would not blame Him at all. His pattern is often to allow evil to become blatant and obvious and allow people that much more opportunity to repent.  And if they refuse, then the judgement is on them.

Let’s hope instead that the unveiling of evil will open enough eyes that we will turn away from the precipice, and not just in this election and not just in politics.  I think we will even if I might be nervous.

In any case, evil in church, society and politics has become much more evident and that rather suddenly. The masks are falling. Many are seeing it, and we had better see it.  “We didn’t know” will not suffice as an excuse henceforth.  And that may make our times that much more interesting.
