The Kamala Democrat War on Free Speech

When Globalists are suddenly pushing the same agenda, an agenda that just happens to suppress our freedoms and increase their power, beware.
For that is one of their chief tactics — to coordinate so that the suppression of freedom seems normal and agreed upon by all reasonable people like them. Make it seem only oddballs and subversives would object. We saw this on steroids during the COVID lockdowns. It may seem like madness or even a bad dream in hindsight. But it became all too normal at the time.
We are seeing this Globalist tactic again in a war against free speech. The Globalists thought, understandably so, back in 2020 that they had speech mostly under control. They successfully suppressed free speech enough to get compliance to COVID tyranny and to defeat Donald Trump among other Globalist objectives.
But then Elon Musk took over Twitter. And then Substack blossomed into the go to long-form free speech platform. (By the way, can Elon and Substack PLEASE get along? You all are on the same team!) Rumble is rumbling, too. There has been revival of free speech.
Well, the Globalists cannot have that. So this summer, there have been increased attacks on free speech from the new Labour government in the U. K., from the E. U., from the Leftist regime in Brazil and . . . well, if I were to do a deep dive on all this, I would test your patience, not to mention my energy. Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger, and the Free Press are among those who have done excellent work in this area. Below is a sample from each.
Now some might think that this is a UK or EU or Brazil problem. We are America! We like our free speech!
Yes, we do. But Kamala and the Democrats, not so much. Kamala Harris’ record on free speech is not good. Not good at all.
In 2019, well before the January 6 riot that ultimately led to President Trump’s Twitter ban, then–Senator Harris publicly and repeatedly called on Twitter to ban him. On October 1, 2019, in a letter to Dorsey, Senator Harris called Trump’s tweets “blatant threats,” and claimed that other users “have had their accounts suspended for less offensive behavior.” She tweeted at Twitter’s then-CEO Jack Dorsey, pleading with him “to do something about this.”
Tim Walz? He cares more about tampons in boy’s restrooms than about free speech.
Tim Walz, her vice presidential pick, has echoed the same. “There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy,” Walz recently declared.
Yes, “hate speech” and dissent against “Our Democracy” must silenced! Along with that annoying accurate “misinformation”.
And the Harris-Biden Regime has constantly harassed (Harrised?) Elon Musk since he took over Twitter and made it a beacon of free speech.
For Musk’s foray into transparency, he has been repaid with a series of protracted battles with federal regulators that rises to the level of harassment. As Liz Peek wrote in The Hill, for embarrassing the Biden administration with the release of the Twitter Files, Musk has faced eleven lawsuits or regulatory battles involving seven different government agencies. “The viciousness of the investigations being conducted by the Department of Justice, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service against a successful American business leader is unprecedented.”
Jonathan Turley has also exposed Harris’ hostility to free speech. Perhaps even more alarming and outrageous is that Hillary Clinton and Clintonite Robert Reich and other Democrats have openly called for foreign powers, namely the EU and its infamous Digital Services Act, to suppress the free speech rights of Americans, particularly of Elon Musk.
By the way, how is that even legal? Calling for foreign powers to attack the Constitutional rights of American citizens is certainly borderline treason.
So, yes, there is a coordinated global Globalist war on free speech. It has come to American shores and, supported by the Democrat Party, threatens to become a tidal wave. Do not let any present quiet from Harris fool you. Keir Starmer seemed reasonable even to me before he took power. Lovable Little Lula did not make obvious threats against free speech in Brazil before he took power. (Those expert on Brazil affairs, feel free to correct me.) Harris and her handlers are likewise concealing more than they are revealing now.
So if we want to keep our free speech, we had better vote for the man who would defend it and not for the woman and her party who has already attacked it.
Yes, one election will not win the free speech war for good. It will take more than that to defeat the Globalists. But, at this current tipping point, one election could lose our free speech for good.
