Reality Checks About Anti-ICE “Protests” & Other Anti-Deportation Agitation
Rather obvious reality checks, but anyway…
I almost didn’t post this because it is so obvious. But sometimes people need to be reminded of the obvious. So here goes with three quick reality checks.
First, the U. S. Constitution protects political protest, for which we should all be thankful. But it is peaceful protest that is protected, not “mostly peaceful.”
Obstructing law enforcement from arresting criminals, assaulting peaceful opponents, holding people hostage by blocking highways, terroristic threats and doxxing, rioting and so on are not peaceful and not acceptable. Those who engage in such activities and who organize and fund them should face the full force of the law. Yes, that includes the deep pockets behind them such as the Soros and the Rockefellers. They must face the full force of the law if a society is to be just and peaceful. (And it must not be two tier enforcement as it is in the UK and was in the US under the Biden Regime.)
And, yes, if local authorities are unwilling or unable to do their job against widespread lawlessness, it is appropriate to send in the National Guard as President Trump has done.
Second, the protections of the Constitution are for citizens and legal residents. Illegals, who should not be here in the first place, have no right to political protest in the United States. What kind of cretan does that anyway? Illegals break our laws and then protest under foreign flags to continue to break our laws?? DEPORT! The faster we can deport these jerks, the better! And there are reports that ICE is finally deporting such protesting illegals. If so, it’s about time!
Finally, and, yes, I am repeating myself…
Churches Should STOP Aiding the Invasion
Yesterday here on my substack, I podcasted with some vehemence that we need a revival of self-defense that includes a reassertion that Western civilization, life, and property rights are worth defending and should be defended.
…Churches, parachurch organizations, and clerics should not enable or support the Invasion and invaders. To say that the Gospel somehow demands supporting the Invasion and occupation of the U. S. and the West is gross ministerial malpractice that is wrong in itself but also harms the witness of the Church and betrays one’s country.
This Pentecost brings us an absurd example from Good Shepherd Nashville of the Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO, and yes, that is really the name of the diocese) in the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).
So Pentecost is all about standing with “migrant” invaders and welcoming them apparently.
No, it is not. And a good bishop would set the clownish Rector of that church straight immediately if not boot him. (And he also just recommended celebrating Pride Month, so booting is probably necessary.)
Again, I apologize for stating what is obvious to sensible people. But some times demand restating the obvious, so this Captain Obvious is doing his part.
I agree with everything you say. It may get worse before it gets better, unfortunately.
