Cold War veteran here! Sadly, we kept Europe secure only to see false ideas lead them toward civilizational suicide. Rotten fruit.

This article highlights the brand of false teachers whose distortion of the Gospel trends left. Their fruit is indeed corrupt and leads many astray, especially the young. What about conservative teachers, from big R Reformed denominations, who to their credit take God's Word very seriously ... but only part of it? Who are so wrapped up in justification by faith alone that they disdain any cultural engagement and only ever teach about good works in order to condemn "works righteousness"? What would we say about their fruit? It is less obviously corrupt, but pathetically small. Does faithfully preaching PART of the Gospel make them false teachers?
