I finally got around to watching 2000 Mules last night. I made a point to watch it critically, and I do question at least one significant segment of it. Nonetheless the evidence the documentary presents was more convincing than I expected. In short, the movie well establishes that a network of hundreds upon hundreds of ballot traffickers, “mules”, were stuffing drop boxes with illegal votes in key swing areas. There is no reasonable way to deny it.
The only question is was the number of trafficked votes enough to alter the final result of the Presidential election? The film makes a good case that the answer is yes. I am still not 100% sure. But the likely fraud is massive and should make any reasonable person question the legitimacy of the Biden win.
2000 Mules takes a different approach than Mollie Hemingway’s excellent book Rigged. Hemingway takes the approach that most claims of fraud are difficult to verify at best, but that the election was so rigged in a number of other ways, such as reducing election security without the required legislative approvals, Zuck Bucks, an army of corrupt lawyers (and one in particular — read the book; I don’t want to get sued.) and more, that the election was compromised and questionable.
Since she wrote the book in 2021, more evidence has come out, including that presented by 2000 Mules, and Hemingway now seems more confident that there was significant fraud. Nonetheless, Rigged is helpful in showing that the 2020 election had profound problems beyond direct fraud. 2000 Mules on the other hand tackles direct fraud head on.
Where am I now on the 2020 election? Before I watched 2000 Mules, I would have said it was indeed rigged with more than the usual fraud added in. But I was agnostic about whether it was a stolen election. But now, I think it likely (say, over 70% likely) that the election was indeed stolen and that we are stuck with an illegitimate president. (And this past election judge is no fool when it comes to elections.) The evidence of rigging and outright massive fraud is that overwhelming.
The question still remains did that swing the election from Trump to Biden? 2000 Mules makes a very good case that it did. I do think the movie might in part overstate the case, but the numbers it presents speak for themselves. If you care about the 2020 Election and about clean elections in the future, I recommend watching the documentary critically along with reading Rigged.
So what do we do about the compromised election and the inevitable attempts to steal future elections? I may address that someday but we do NOT be foolish as some at the January 6th protests. As Doug Wilson says, “Don’t take the bait.” Don’t be provoked into a violent or otherwise harmful response. Let the Democrats, RINOs, and the Deep State be the bad guys, not you. We must defeat them, not play into their hands.
Again I may say more. For now, pray for our country. It needs it.
I recommend the Trump administrations Attorney General Bill Bars take on 2000 Mules.
"In taped testimony, Barr says he watched the film with an open mind, but it failed to deliver on those claims, even chuckling when he brought up the movie.
“My opinion is that the election was not stolen by fraud, and I haven’t seen anything since the election that changes my mind on that, including the ‘2000 Mules’ movie,” the former attorney general said during his testimony.
During his testimony, Barr said he told former President Trump that his election fraud claims were false, but Trump wasn’t interested in hearing that.
“I thought, boy, if he really believes this stuff, he has lost contact with — he’s become detached from reality,” Barr said
